District 7255 Foundation Chair for 2012-2016 PDG Arnold Quaranta invited all Rotarians to join one of four Rotary Club meetings that had been hel on:
• Monday, October 28, 2013 at 5:30 PM at Janney Montgomery Scott, in Garden City, NY
• Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 12:15 PM ant the Rotary Club of Riverhead at the Culinary Arts Center
• Wednesday, October 30th at 12:15 PM at the Rptary Club of Smithtown, in Smithtown, NY, and
• Thursday, October 31th at 7:45 AM at the Rotary Club of Ronkonkomas, in Ronkonkoma, NY
The guest speakers were: PDG Arnold T. Quaranta Jr., District 7255 Foundation Chair 2012-2016. and a member of the Rotary Club of the Ronkonkomas, Rotary International Foundation Major Gifts Officers for Zone 32 Jenna Archuleta, and Endowment/Major Gifts Advisor Mac Leask, CPA
The topics of the presentation focused on the four-step Fund Development Process, Ways to Give (Planned Giving) and Rotary Recognition.
There are many ways to support The Rotary Foundation's Programs in addition to cash gifts such as gift annuities and trusts, codicils and wills, naming the Rotary Foundation as beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account; gifts of appreciatedassets like stock or real estate Donor Advised Fund account.
Rotary is made up of three parts:
1. - Rotary Clubs bring together dedicated individuals to exchange ideas, build relationships and take action.
2. - Rotary International supports Rotary clubs worldwide by coordinating global programs, campaigns and initiatives.
3. - The Rotary Foundation uses generous donations to fund projects by Rotarians and our partners in communities around the world as a nonprofit, all of the Foundation's funding comes from voluntary contributions made by Rotarians and Friends who share our vision of a better world."
Together, Rotary clubs, Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation work to make lasting improvements in our communities and around the world.

Three workshops were also held from October 28 to 30 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Garden City, Riverhead and Hauppauge.
