Triple Header Training Day
DISTRICT TRAINING ASSEMBLY, PETS MAKE-UP & FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION TRAINING.
On May 21, 2016, DGE MJ Fitzgerald and District 7255 will be holding a Triple-Header Training Day for all interested Rotarians. Included in the day's training events will be:
1. The annual District Training Assembly (formerly known as "District Assembly") which will include breakouts for club secretaries and treasurers. We will also be voting on the District Budget for Rotary year 2016-17.
2. PETS MakeUp for incoming club presidents who could not attend Multi-District PETS in New Jersey last month. This will be your last opportunity to get your required training as club president. Remember, RI makes PETS training MANDATORY in order to be seated by the Governor as a club president.
3. Rotary Foundation Certification Training, for clubs interested in participating in Rotary Foundation Global Grants. The Foundation requires your club to get certified in order to participate.
Location & Time: Hilton Garden Inn Melville - Located on the east side Round Swamp Road, just south of Long Island Expressway Exit 48 in Plainview. Saturday, May 21, 2016, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
You must register in advance in order to attend. If you plan to attend, please email your RSVP to PDG Marion Stark at mopsy3@optonline.net, or call Marion at 631-987-7209 to let her know you'll be attending. Please include the name of your club and the breakouts you plan on attending.
All costs, including breakfast, lunch & breaks, will be paid for by the district from your dues, so please plan on joining us!
